Current City Councilman Cory Penn recently held a Meet & Greet for his constituency at Elev8te Sports Bar & Grill.
Penn is seeking re-election in District 1, a district representing varying parts of Mobile including parts of Airport Blvd, Dauphin Street, Springhill Avenue, Toulminville, Shelton Beach road Ext, N University Blvd and Bear Fork Road.
Cory Penn has held the District 1 seat for 4 years, beating Herman Thomas in 2021.
2025 is a significant year for Mobile County as elections are being held for many positions including: (7) Mobile City Council seats, Mayor of Mobile, (5) Prichard City Council seats and Mayor of Prichard.
August 26, 2025 is Election Day for both Mobile & Prichard municipalities.
